<p>After Japan's 1941 attack on Pearl Harbour, Japanese Pilot Shigenori Nishikaichi needed a place to conduct an emergency landing. He had been told that the nearby Hawaiian island of Ni'ihau was uninhabited, but that intel was wrong.
