I know that I have, in fact, it’s one of the biggest reasons why I haven’t created any episodes on the Elite Alpha Podcast lately. I had gotten so caught up in so many other things with my competition and trying to juggle both being a personal trainer and a coach and mentor. Luckily for me, I had my coach and mentor reach out to me and remind me how easy it is to lose ourselves along the way. He told me something power which was… Be you that’s the only way you can show up powerful in life. You see it’s easy to want to compare yourself to others who may be on a similar path as you. You start to see what others are doing and it can make you question what you are doing. You may feel like you aren’t as good as they are and that you just aren’t ever going to be able to do what they are doing. So the easiest thing to do is to try and mimic them, hoping that it will get you to where you want to be. But, just consider that this only causes you to actually lose power and lose yourself in the process. You see I noticed that I lost my own ability to think for myself and follow my own intuition of what is right for me. I lost clarity of where and why I was doing what I was doing. When I saw this I knew I needed to do stop before I lost myself anymore. So, what can you do if this happens? How do you get back to where you need to be? My solution…’Go back to the basics. Go back to creating simple habits and hold the line. You see I had gotten away from the simple habits that I run in the morning to generate daily power. I have made complicated and this caused me to lose power and rather than progress I actually started to go backward. So, if you see that you have lost momentum and fallen off track, then here’s what I would have you consider… Create simple daily habits that will allow you to create daily power. Whether it's reading a book, meditating, or working out I suggest doing all of them . Really start to do things that will allow you to start each day with power. It is amazing what these simple daily habits will do for you. You may think it is too simple, but try just try doing this for 1 week straight. 1.Wake up early 2. Read something inspiring 3. meditate 4. journal 5. show love and appreciation to someone 6. plan the day Try it and you will see that naturally, you begin to generate power.
