<p class="">Everybody wants to fit in. But if you want people to like you, you’re going to have to smile and nod and go along and help out. And you do. And people like that about you. You go out of your way to show others you care. But it’s exhausting. And it still feels like it’s not enough. You have more to do than you could ever get done, but you have to do it. Because the moment you don’t give people what they want, they won’t want you. <p class="">Everybody makes mistakes, but some of us can’t seem to move past them. We’re filled with regret. We can’t stop stewing over what we did…and should’ve done instead. You wish you could go back and do it over. But you can’t. And you’re going to have to live with that. It was your fault. You’re to blame. Even if others could forgive you, you’re not sure you could forgive you.
