The story was first published in 1972 in Cavalier magazine. Later it was published in the anthology “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” which is where I’m reading it from tonight. While I know I always play a disclaimer at the beginning of each episode, I feel this one warrants a second one, as it is extremely violent and touches on things that could easily trigger some people. I don’t want to be specific, as it will ruin the story, but if you are easily squeamish or easily offended, this is not the story for you.
