After stepping away from his playing career, Lomas started the transition to the media side of things and became a big part of the success of The Back of the Bird Podcast. This past September, he made his NLL+ debut as part of the NLL Draft broadcast — and was a natural!

Like we did with Brad Challoner last week, we'll tee up Dan with the four Eastern Canadian teams to see what he has to say. It's a very insightful conversation with a few hilarious stories and some wise words.

A busy lacrosse dad, Challoner is just as excited as the rest of us to get the new season going. So we'll dive into some team previews with Brad as we get his perspective one some very important questions.

There's just three weeks left for teams decide their final rosters so pre-season games will be vital and thankfully for everyone- NLL+ will be broadcasting a few of them.

This week on the OTCB Podcast; after a long drawn put CBA negotiations NLL Commissioner Brett Frood is, like all us fans and players, ready to get the season started.

There wasn't much of an off season for Frood, the Owners and the NLLPA. What with dealing with the Knighthawks, FireWolves and Wings situations- but with all that behind us, it's time to play some lacrosse. Frood discussion some of the labour talks, the Unboxed initiative, major TV deals and more.

It's the first show of the season so we slowly get ourselves back into "game shape". We'll check in with the Polar Bears over at CoolBet and set you up for the next few weeks leading up to the season opener in Oshawa.
