Morph Club: An Animorphs Podcast!

hi everybody! carey here on behalf of megan and carey with a quick logistical note. morph club is switching from soundcloud to anchor for episode hosting! the old episodes will still be accessible once we redirect the feed, so it should hopefully be a seamless experience on the listening end. But most soundcloud episodes will be hidden once we downgrade that account, so if you have any deep-seated attachment to them or any comments you made there, now is the time to download and save them yourselves! especially episode #22, megamorphs 2, which anchor refused to recognize and import, so maybe we accidentally stumbled on some truth about yeerks in there that the world wasn't ready for?? we'll leave that ep up on soundcloud. So in the future, you can find the show archive at anchor.fm/morphclub, or in any of your podcast listening apps. and we're always on twitter at morphclubcast! it was a treat to look back at old eps while we were switching over- these books are very dear to us, and so was this show, and so was hearing from everyone who got to connect with other animorphs fans over it. that really meant a lot to both of us!! so, as always, thank you. ok, that's it! hope you're all hanging in there ok. it morph club out! byeeeee!

It's the wrap-up episode! We build a full-on red string bulletin board map of Crayak & Ellimist plots, answer your questions, talk about some wonderful fanfics (bit.ly/morphfics), and touch on what we have planned next. And of course, we circle back around to the Morph Club Thesis: did you know that Animorphs is an extremely good series? We think so. Spread the word. We'll put the first couple eps of whatever we do next in this feed for you to check out, and until then, find us elsewhere online: twitter.com/morphclubcast twitter.com/megthebrennan twitter.com/careydraws Thanks for listening! It's been really special to make this journey along with all of you. Megan and Carey read THE LAST BOOK!!! buckle your seatbelts because this book spans like 4 years and will make you feel every emotion. And also manages to fit in multiple references to the cinnabon franchise. HOW IS THIS THE END ALREADY but also THESE KIDS WENT THROUGH SO MUCH IN SO SHORT A TIME? process all these feelings along with us. Megan & Carey read the penultimate Animorphs book: Book 53: The Answer! Listen in real time as we, like these woefully unprepared teens, are ground into nothing before the unrelenting march of war. Did that make sense? I'm really not sure because this book took my brain and put it through the WRINGER, Y'ALL. We're not ready for the end but we are, as always, so very, very glad to have all of you along for the ride. Let's do it.
