The decision reframed the national discussion around marriage equality and helped set the legal path that culminated in nationwide marriage recognition years later.</p><p>On this day in 1811, the U.S. Senate confirmed <a href="https://supreme.justia.com/justices/joseph-story/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Joseph Story to the Supreme Court </a>at just 32 years old—the youngest justice in American history. Serving 34 years, he shaped foundational doctrines in federalism, judicial review, commercial law, and constitutional interpretation. His Commentaries on the Constitution remain essential to constitutional scholarship.</p><br><p>Since Mike is an entertainment lawyer, let’s learn about an important entertainment historical anniversary today</p><p>On this day in 1928, Mickey Mouse debuted in <a href="https://www.moma.org/collection/works/302797" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Steamboat Willie</a>, one of the earliest synchronized‑sound cartoons. Its success launched the Disney legacy and changed animation forever.
