<p>In this episode of the WALKING FOR PEACE PODCAST, Alberto and I reflect on the deeply symbolic events that surrounded the beginning of our pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem in November 2001.</p><p><br></p><p>We revisit the powerful experiences that guided us in those first days — from me (Mony) arriving in Rome alone, to staying at a monastery dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, to receiving an unexpected “blessing” through Pope John Paul II’s message on the Song of Moses and the crossing of the Red Sea.</p><p><br></p><p>As we contemplate these events twenty-five years later through the lens of A Course in Miracles and the symbolic nature of the world, we explore the possibility that the pilgrimage itself was an “exodus”:</p><p><br></p><p>A movement away from fear, separation, judgment and outer striving… and toward trust, guidance, forgiveness, and the remembrance of our shared Identity.</p><p><br></p><p>Alberto also shares the profound experience that sealed his decision to join the walk — a moment that made it unmistakably clear that we were being called to take this journey together.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a conversation about symbols, guidance, synchronicity, spiritual awakening, and the loving Presence that quietly leads us across the inner wilderness, one step at a time.</p><p><br></p><p>With love and gratitude for all who walk with us.</p><p><br></p><p>Buen camino!</p><p><br></p><p>Mony and Alberto</p><p><br></p><p>* * * </p><p><br></p><p>P.S.
