<p>Westfair Communications’ Women in Power 2026 was a powerful morning dedicated to inspiration, connection, and leadership. Held on January 29 at Reid Castle on the campus of Manhattanville University, the free event brought together aspiring and established leaders for meaningful conversations about influence, growth, and community impact. Attendees heard candid insights from an exceptional panel featuring Lola Gazivoda, Fran Pastore, and Maria Trusa – three accomplished women who shared real-world experiences, lessons learned along the way, and practical strategies for success. The discussion centers on the history and mission of the WBDC, which was established nearly 30 years ago to help women launch and scale businesses to achieve economic self-reliance. Fran highlights that the organization provides resources, training, and a grant program – currently offering $10,000 grants – primarily to Connecticut-based female entrepreneurs.</p><p><br><br></p>
