A small gesture of gratitude to a true musical visionary whose legacy will continue to live on through his timeless work. The first hour features a selection of mine, followed by a guest mix from Australia's @mehdi-elaquil I first got to know Mehdi a few years ago when I began exploring the world of rotary mixers. As the founder of @condesaelectronics and its renowned discrete Class-A rotary mixers, he was one of the first people I reached out to. From our very first conversation, I found him to be kind, generous with his knowledge and deeply passionate about music. Born in Kent, on the outskirts of London, to Mauritian and Moroccan heritage, Mehdi was raised on the sounds of both Morocco and Mauritius. Influenced by Jazz-Funk, Hip-Hop, Electro Boogie, Afrobeat, Soul and House music, he has been honing his craft since the early 1980s. His musical journey has taken him from Ibiza to London's vibrant club scene before eventually relocating to Australia in 2004. Enjoy the journey.
