While the focus will be on the current rostered players, their remain questions to whether former Panthers Stephon Gilmore will return in 2024. While the Carolina Panthers have known their 2024 opponents for the past four months. The NFL decided to hold the dates to which they'll play each opponent hostage until May 15. The Carolina Panthers went with two older prospects to close out the 2024 NFL Draft. In the sixth round, with pick 200, Carolina selected Mississippi State DT Jaden Crumedy. Then, to wrap up the franchises seven-man draft haul, the Panthers took Michigan LB Michael Barrett with the 240th pick in the draft. The NFL is set to release the 2024 schedule on Wednesday night. Fortunately, Panthers fans won't have to wait that long to find out when the team will travel to Munich, Germany to play the franchises first game in Deutschland, as the league is set to announce that game date and time early Wednesday morning. Julian Council takes a guess at when the Panthers will make the trip to Europe.
Last season, the Panthers started the season on the road facing off against the Atlanta Falcons. That game was followed up by another divisional bout against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football at Bank of America Stadium. During the 2024 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers had their sights on two players from the University of Texas. Carolina first traded away multiple fifth round picks to get up 46th overall in the second round to select RB Jonathon Brooks. Then to start Day 3 of the draft, Carolina double dipped by taking TE Ja'Tavion Sanders.
Both Brooks and Sanders represent offensive weapons for Bryce Young as the Panthers have worked diligently this offseason to find playmakers for their second year QB.
