I wrote this song to honor George Floyd and remember the truth about his killing. This was not a "tragedy." It was not "unfortunate," "unintended" or "an accident." It was depraved, wanton disregard for the life of another human being. Let it be the last drop that finally makes the levee break, the last straw that breaks the camel's back and forces a complete reimagining of the role of policing in America.
