As far as I can tell, codespell &lt;a href="https://github.com/codespell-project/codespell/issues/1203?featured_on=pythonbytes"&gt;doesn't support editor integration&lt;/a&gt;. (Note that the popular &lt;a href="https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=streetsidesoftware.code-spell-checker&amp;featured_on=pythonbytes"&gt;Code Spell Checker&lt;/a&gt; VS Code extension is an unrelated project that uses a traditional dictionary approach.)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
