Reunimos músicas poliédricas y metamórficas, en las cuales también estilos y artistas de diversos orígenes confluyen. Viajamos entre Madagascar, La Reunión, Grecia, Serbia y también con encuentros entre músicos persas, burkineses, franceses y canadienses. Pero previamente habíamos abierto con el recuerdo a los míticos Pata Negra, aunando flamenco y blues, en homenaje al recientemente desaparecido Rafael Amador. We bring together polyhedral and metamorphic music in which styles and artists of diverse origins converge. We travel between Madagascar, La Réunion, Greece and Serbia, and we also bring encounters between Persian, Burkinabé, French and Canadian musicians. We review the results and some of the music we have found most interesting among the winners of several calls in which the makers of Mundofonías serve as jury members: the Balkan World Music Chart, the Russian World Music Chart and the Russian World Music Awards, where the most outstanding albums of 2025 have been selected in their respective fields. Brasil, Guinea e Indonesia Brazil, Guinea and Indonesia Viajamos entre tres continentes, tres países, dos hemisferios, varios océanos, diversas épocas y mil culturas sonoras. Comenzamos en Brasil, con artistas radicados en su país y también con conexiones europeas. Continuamos en Guinea, viajando también en el tiempo, a la época de la independencia y las revoluciones contra el colonialismo, y terminamos en Indonesia, con nuevos aires que nos llegan desde Bali y una experiencia panindonesia. We travel across three continents, three countries, two hemispheres, several oceans, different eras and a thousand sound cultures. We begin in Brazil, with artists based in their own country and also with European connections. Dragones en el páramo galáctico Dragons on the galactic moor Músicas tan variopintas como el mundo nos sorprenden en esta edición de Mundofonías, hablándonos de dragones, lágrimas, perlas, ramas, páramos, sopas, aperitivos, voces, huellas, casamientos y descasamientos. Suena música con aires de Armenia, Albania, Alemania, los Balcanes, los países nórdicos y los ibéricos, Argentina, Perú y Colombia, a partir de muy recientes ediciones discográficas que nos ofrecen mil tratamientos a partir de la música de raíz, desde rudas guitarras a los ecos de las voces indígenas. Dedicamos la primera parte del programa al repaso de los tres discos favoritos de Mundofonías de febrero del 2026, que nos traen los músicos malienses Neba Solo & Benego Diakité, el francés migratorio Jocelyn Mienniel y los italianos del Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino. Continuamos en Italia, con un homenaje al músico y profesional de otros ámbitos de la música Erasmo Treglia, para desembocar en la crónica del festival Sur Jahan, en Bengala Occidental, en la India, escuchando músicas ibéricas, bengalíes, letonas y danesas que sonaron por allí. We devote the first part of the programme to a review of Mundofonías’ three favourite albums of February 2026, brought to us by the Malian musicians Neba Solo & Benego Diakité, the French migratory artist Jocelyn Mienniel and the Italian group Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino. We continue in Italy with a tribute to the musician and professional in other areas of music Erasmo Treglia, before moving on to a chronicle of the Sur Jahan festival in West Bengal, in India, listening to Iberian, Bengali, Latvian and Danish music that was played there.
