Woman of the Hour (2023) is the directorial debut from Anna Kendrick and is based on the true crime story of serial killer and sex offender Rodney Alcala. Episode # 404 Creep 2 with Darren Gaskell And Kat Hughes
Darren Gaskell (The HD Movie Podcast) And Kat Hughes (The Hollywood News, and return to Flixwatcher to review Darren’s choice Creep 2. Mark Duplass reprises his role as everyone’s favourite creepy serial killer, now named Aaron (after his previous victim) he lures videographer and YouTuber Sara (Desiree Akhavan) to his remote cabin. Aaron openly admits he is a serial killer and makes an offer to Sara to film him over the next 24 hours. She surprisingly agrees, hoping that this will help her failing YouTube ratings. When she fails to be intimidated by Aaron’s behaviour and Peachfuzz mask he finds himself challenged and quite possibly in love. Creep 2 is equally a romantic comedy as much as a horror, where the fun in Creep relied mainly on jumpscares and found footage Creep 2 gets its weirdness from the interaction between Aaron and Sara. Recommendability scores weighed heavily on having seen Creep first and its 80 minute run time helped it to score 3.63 overall. With Creep scoring 4.11 Flixwatcher and guests recommend them both!
