Despite the setback, Perrin bounced back with a vengeance, winning his next four fights and capturing the Cage Titans bantamweight title in the process. Perrin's UFC Debut Perrin’s hard work and dedication paid off when he received the call to compete in the UFC. His debut came on August 22, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Munhoz vs. Edgar, where he faced fellow newcomer, Jordan Griffin. Although Perrin lost a close split decision, he showed that he belonged in the UFC with his gritty performance. He proved that he has the heart and determination to succeed at the highest level of MMA. Perrin takes the motivation he receives from his closest friends who cannot be here any longer and turns it into a strength by channeling his higher power: the angels. The UFC has yet to turn Jay down a challenge.
