<p>A tragic and senseless act of violence took place at a McDonald’s in Eastpointe, Michigan. 39-year-old manager Jennifer Harris — a mother of six — lost her life at the hands of her own employee, 26-year-old Afeni Muhammad, after being told to go home during a shift dispute. There’s absolutely no excuse for what took place. We need to talk about accountability, emotional control, and the harsh reality that sometimes… we don’t know who we’re working next to.</p>
