(00:00-25:51) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query highlighting some things that stood out from Chris Ballard’s conversation on the Fan Morning Show. Plus, he expresses his frustrations with IU basketball after a brutal loss to Northwestern last night. (25:51-43:04) – Jeff Rabjohns from Peegs.com makes an appearance on Query & Company to discuss where IU basketball is currently at after last night’s loss to Northwestern, explains what Ryan Carr’s role will be with the Indiana Hoosiers, believes that the hiring of Carr is going to help IU get back to forward thinking for the first time in a decade, and assesses if the success of the football program could change how much money the basketball program receives for their NIL budget with the lack of success despite the resources available. Lamar Wilkerson was very frustrated postgame and Jake thinks his frustration is something to discuss. Plus, he mentions the ongoing saga between the Pacers and NBA.   (1:35:00-1:57:02) – The final hour of Query & Company tips off with Jake and producer Eddie Garrison diving more into the statement given by the NBA yesterday in response to what Rick Carlisle said on the Fan Morning Show about violating the Player Participation Policy. The statement raises more red flags in their eyes than anything else. (1:57:02-2:14:25) – Chris Ballard made an interesting comment on evaluating the Colts leadership at the player level in the locker room this morning on the Fan Morning Show. Jake also comments on what Rick Carlisle said this morning about being fined $100,000 prior to the All-Star break for violating the Player Participation Policy. (24:11-42:27) – Sports Illustrated’s Matt Verderame joins Jake Query at the NFL Combine to give his perspective on what the Indianapolis Colts should do with Anthony Richardson because he has a different thought on his value. Matt also states that the Colts better not let Alec Pierce not hit the open market, evaluates what Daniel Jones did prior to his fibula fracture, profiles Fernando Mendoza, and weighs in on whether he thinks the Bears will move to Northwest Indiana. They start by sharing their thoughts on Team USA winning the gold medal hockey game over Team Canada on Sunday morning. That’s after Jake reveals the news that Ryan Carr will be leaving the Pacers to go to Indiana to serve as the Executive Director of Basketball. (25:28-40:36) – The voice of the Indiana Hoosiers, Don Fischer, joins the show to explain what went wrong for Indiana on Friday night in West Lafayette, comments on the lack of playing time recently from Trent Sisley, shares his thoughts on Indiana hiring Ryan Carr as the Executive Director of Basketball, previews their upcoming game against Northwestern, and shares his thoughts on Team USA winning gold over Team Canada. (40:36-50:27) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake sharing some advice because he believes that we need to change the way we operate as people.
