<p>This week Emily and Ray have a festive treat for you as they take a stroll through the beautifully Christmassy streets of Richmond with <em>Call the Midwife</em> star <strong>Helen George</strong>, joined by her adorable rescue dog Charlie.</p><br><p>Emily chats to Helen about her childhood growing up in Hampshire, the early days of her career including working as a backing singer for <strong>Elton John</strong>, and her experiences playing Nurse Trixie in <em>Call the Midwife</em> since the very first episode back in 2012.</p><br><p>They also talk about Helen’s current turn as the Fairy Godmother in <em>Cinderella</em> at the Richmond Theatre, which runs until <strong>January 4th</strong> and also stars <strong>Basil Brush</strong>.
