Our guest this episode is NYC-based LGBTQ activist dancer, singer, choreographer, drag queen, gender non-conformist, and co-host of PBS new documentary series "1st Person" Donald Shorter aka Francesca.
Donald sits down with us to discuss the importance of visibility for GNC(gender non-conforming) and queer identifying humans, drag, how his experiences with the youth of Paris' and their interaction with "Paris is Burning" inspired his one woman show "Genderosity" (starring Francesca), and how imperative it is to challenge gender norms so we can break down the patriarchy.
