About Wes Kao 
Wes Kao is a marketing and positioning consultant who helps good ideas and good people get the recognition they deserve. Wes was the co-creator and founding Executive Director of Seth Godin&#8217;s altMBA, where she helped thousands of change agents level up. Before that, she spent 10 years in marketing at beloved consumer brands including L&#8217;Oreal, Gap, Bare Escentuals, and an ad-tech startup acquired by Snapchat. Her work has been featured in Inc, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, and she guest lectures at UC Berkeley and Harvard. She&#8217;s also a mentor for Backstage Capital and WeWork Labs.
