When you start something new there can be an 'alarm reaction' from the body. A new training stimulus or maybe it's the time of your life that is the 'new thing'! Either way it can be as equally challenging as exciting and motivating to start something new. Over the years we've both (Tim and Jacko) played with many different types of training and sports and often made similar mistakes! .
