Want more Hannah? Check out epi 174.   Cocktail Recipe: A Classy Boulevardier 🥃 1.5 oz New Riff 8-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 💧 .75 oz Cocchi Americano & Contratto Aperitif (50/50 blend) 🧡 .75 oz Campari 🍊 1 fresh orange peel (garnish) In a stirring glass, add liquid ingredients. Fill ¾ with ice and gently stir for 30 to 40 rotations or until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. On this epi of our Remix series we brought back author, JoAnn Hill to tell us all about her third and latest book, “Unique Eats and Eateries of Washington, DC.” So, there’s definitely something to be said about the power of number 3.  Want more JoAnn? Check out epi 240: Pt 1 & Pt 2 and epi 179   Cocktail Recipe: Well, Hello Basil 🌿 2 oz basil-infused gin* (or natural spirit of your liking) 🍋 1 cup fresh lemonade 🫧 3-4 oz seltzer water 🍋 2 lemon wheels 🌿 basil sugar** (for rimming) In a shaker tin, add basil-infused gin and lemonade. Fill 3/4 with ice, top and shake vigorously until exterior of tin is frosty. Over fresh ice, strain into a basil sugar-rimmed Collins glass. Top with sparkling water and garnish with lemon wheels.  *Basil-Infused Gin 🇬🇧 4 oz London dry gin 🌿 5 large basil leaves, torn In an air-tight glass container, add gin and basil. Seal and allow to infuse 6-12 hours. Shake occasionally. ⏰Strain gin and squeeze the leaves to release any remaining liquid. Keep in an air-tight container. **Basil sugar 🌿2 large basil leaves, torn 💙 .25 cup granulated sugar In a small food processor, add sugar and basil. Pulse until basil is chopped into small, uniform pieces and sugar is pale green. Keep in an air-tight container.  Looking for another cocktail to accompany you while you listen. Now that’s definitely worth a second round.    Want more Kristen? Check out epi 106.   Cocktail Recipe:   Keeping It Spicy 🇲🇽 1.5 oz jalapeño infused tequila* 🍍 1.5 oz pineapple juice 🍋‍🟩 .5 oz fresh lime juice 🫧 3-4 oz pineapple flavored sparkling water 🍍 1 wedge of pineapple, garnishment 🌶️ 1 jalapeño slice, garnishment In a shaker tin, add jalapeño-infused tequila and pineapple juice. Fill 3/4 with ice, top and shake vigorously until exterior of tin is frosty. Over fresh ice, strain into a Collins glass. Top with sparkling water and garnish with pineapple wedge and jalapeño slice.  *Jalapeño-Infused Tequila 🇲🇽 8 oz blanco tequila 🌶️ 1 fresh jalapeño, sliced In an air-tight glass container, add tequila and jalapeño slices.
