Payne has spent the last year in Nome, Alaska, investigating the case of Native Alaskan Florence Okpealuk, who went missing in 2020. This case is unlike any other he has covered and has taken him all the way to the Arctic Circle and back. The bomber would later be identified as a dedicated soldier in the white-supremacist Christian Identity Movement.
