Hobo and Locke do a little newspaper research to see what shows on Atlas' Broadway are playing that may feature a chicken. Meanwhile, Edith and Joey Everknuckle go on a date, and Arthur goes out for a guys' night with Locke 2.

With a little bribery, Locke gets into the famous Boatbacon Asylum to meet with the director, Jeremiah Boatbacon, in hopes of having Julianne Goode sign her straight-to-video VHS copy of Shelter Me from Sunshine.

Locke finds that none of the chicken restaurants in the area have people dressed like chickens. Locke's favorite phone booth is dead, but he still refuses to get a cellular smartphone. He continues to use the old methods of famous fictional dicks. And his first order of business is to find out if Locke 2 is the one that tried to off him.
