What happens when you pull a friend into a podcast studio, turn on the microphones, hit record, and THEN tell them they're on a podcast?Well... you're about to find out.Welcome to You Have to Meet My Friends—the podcast series that's becoming a phenomenon because nobody knows they're going to be on the show until they're already on the show. Sometimes I get sent straight to voicemail and receive a healthy reminder that my contact list may not be as impressed with me as I am. But every once in a while, someone picks up—or in this case, unknowingly sits down in the studio—and something special happens. This isn't just a podcast. It's a social experiment. It's a masterclass in spontaneity. It's proof that the most meaningful conversations often happen when nobody has time to prepare.Whether you're an entrepreneur, leader, creator, speaker, business owner, or simply someone who loves authentic storytelling, this episode will remind you that genuine human connection still wins.In this episode:• Unscripted conversation with Dave Blackford Unexpected stories and hilarious moments• Leadership insights and life lessons• Real friendship and authentic connection• The power of spontaneity and showing up as yourselfIf you're tired of polished interviews and predictable podcasts, you're going to love this.Subscribe, turn on notifications, and join the movement because with You Have to Meet My Friends, nobody knows they're the guest until they're already the guest. And honestly...That's where the magic lives.#Podcast #Leadership #Entrepreneurship #Storytelling #Authenticity #KellyCardenas #YouHaveToMeetMyFriends #DaveBlackford #BusinessPodcast #PersonalGrowth

#810 Before there was social media influence, or personal branding..........there was wisdom
Buy the Inchstones-The Vibe within book hereBefore there was social media influence, personal branding, or leadership books, there was wisdom. In this episode of The Vibe with Kelly Cardenas, we dive deep into Proverbs 8 and one of the most powerful lessons my parents ever taught me:"Boy, you better know who you're dealing with."My Pops would say it one way. My mama would say, "Don't be a respecter of persons." For years, those ideas seemed contradictory. As life unfolded, I realized they work together perfectly. This conversation explores why wisdom calls out to us constantly, why so many people ignore it, and why understanding the people, places, and situations around you can dramatically impact your personal, professional, spiritual, and financial life.In Proverbs 8, wisdom isn't passive—it is pleading with us to listen. It offers prudence, discernment, truth, justice, sound judgment, knowledge, and direction. More valuable than gold, silver, or precious jewels, wisdom has been available since the beginning of time. The question is: are we willing to listen? In this episode, you'll discover:✅ Why wisdom is the foundation of great leadership✅ How discernment helps you navigate relationships and opportunities✅ The connection between wisdom, prosperity, and purpose✅ Why humility is essential for growth✅ How Proverbs 8 applies to modern business, leadership, and everyday life✅ Why "knowing who you're dealing with" can change your futureWisdom is not a destination. It's a daily process.Just like spending time with God, wisdom requires intentional pursuit. When you find wisdom, you find life. The challenge isn't whether wisdom is available. The challenge is whether we're paying attention. If you've ever wondered how to make better decisions, build stronger relationships, lead with greater confidence, and create a life with deeper meaning, this episode is for you.🎙️ Subscribe for more conversations on leadership, faith, personal growth, entrepreneurship, mindset, and The VIBE Method™.👇 Drop a comment:What's the greatest piece of wisdom someone has ever shared with you?#Proverbs8 #Wisdom #Leadership #Faith #PersonalDevelopment #ChristianLeadership #Mindset #SuccessPrinciples #Entrepreneurship #SelfImprovement #SpiritualGrowth #BusinessLeadership #KellyCardenas #TheVibeWithKellyCardenas #WisdomFromGod #PurposeDrivenLife #LeadershipDevelopment #GrowthMindset #Motivation #LifeLessons

#808 You have to meet my friends - Amanda Vega
You Have to Meet My FriendsAmanda Vegas answered and her is the link that you will all be asking for! Click hereI had an idea recently that felt either incredibly brilliant… or like the beginning of a mild public humiliation.Honestly, the jury is still out.So here’s what I started doing:I go live on my podcast, scroll through my phone, randomly call my friends, and they have absolutely NO idea they’re about to be on a podcast. No warning. No prep.No “Hey, do you have a few minutes?” text.Just me out here risking lifelong friendships for content 😅The series is called You Have to Meet My Friends and somehow it has turned into one of my favorite things we’ve ever done. Now let me be clear… sometimes this thing goes sideways FAST.Sometimes nobody answers. And there is truly nothing more humbling than staring into a camera while your phone rings six times and goes straight to voicemail. It’s basically a live-action reminder that everybody’s “brother” until they’re in a Costco parking lot ignoring your call. But then…Somebody picks up.And that’s when the magic happens.Because what comes out of these conversations is real life. No polished interview voice. No rehearsed answers. No “personal brand” version of people. Just honest moments with incredible humans caught completely off guard. One minute we’re laughing about something ridiculous, the next minute somebody says something profound that hits me right between the eyes. That’s the thing I’m loving most about this series:You can’t manufacture real connection. You can create the space for it.You can take the risk for it.You can press call and hope for the best. But the real stuff? The meaningful stuff? That only happens when people show up as themselves. And I think we’re starving for that right now.Everything feels so scheduled. So polished. So optimized.Meanwhile, some of the best moments in my life have happened unexpectedly. A random phone call. A conversation that almost didn’t happen. A moment I couldn’t have planned if I tried. That’s what You Have to Meet My Friends is really about. It’s a reminder that life still has room for surprise. That spontaneity still matters. That maybe the best conversations don’t happen in a studio with perfect lighting and scripted questions… maybe they happen when somebody answers the phone with:“Wait… I’m on WHAT right now?!”So if you’ve ever wondered what would happen if you leaned into the unknown a little more… come hang out with us.And fair warning:If you’re in my contacts… keep your phone nearby 😂The next call might be yours. This edition of The VIBE is proudly sponsored by Cardenas Law Group
