Jesus came for people like you and me. He came for those that feel like they are the odd one out, the one who just can’t seem to get it right, or the one that just keeps messing up. The calling of Matthew in Mark 2 gives us a glimpse of the people that Jesus came to call and save.

Sarah, known as the matriarch of the faith, is listed in the Faith Hall of Fame. It isn't because she was perfect, it's because she was faithful. Perfection has never been the goal, faithfulness is!

The hardest part of faith isn’t starting.  It’s waiting.  It’s the silence.  It’s praying and not seeing movement.  It’s believing and not seeing evidence. Abraham's journey from when God first promised to when he saw that promise fulfilled was anything but quick and easy. Abraham questioned God and struggled with his circumstances, but God was still working!

Faith is being sure of what we’ve never seen with our eyes. It sounds crazy at first. It sounds crazy to trust and believe during the hard points of our lives. As we’ll see through a hero of the faith in Noah, it may seem crazy at first, but God is faithful and proves himself real and loving over and over again.

Enoch is heralded as a hero in Hebrews 11. Why is this little known Bible character a hero? It was about his relationship with God. Enoch walked with God. What does that look like for us today? What can we learn from the few verses in the Bible about Enoch? We learn to run to and walk with our Creator.
