She has extensive experience in child development, supervising compensatory educational programs, budget management, and teaching in urban and youth-serving educational settings. Her passion emerges from her experiences at the grassroots level as well as through her senior practitioner-focused policy efforts. In her spare time, she is an avid gardener, facilitator of culinary experiences, and connoisseur of international dining experiences. She balances her life with Latin dancing - salsa, cumbia, bachata - all around the world while mentoring others to pursue their passion projects.
