Share the Water | Christmas is Coming
Are You Willing to Go Out of Your Way for the ONE?From Andrew bringing Peter, to Philip inviting Bartholomew with a simple “come and see,” Scripture shows us a powerful truth: God reaches people through people. In John 4, Jesus intentionally goes out of His way to pass through Samaria, crossing cultural, social, and spiritual barriers, to meet one woman at a well. At noon. In her shame. And in her thirst. This message challenges us to ask:• How far are we willing to go to reach those far from Jesus?• Do we recognize the thirst in the people around us?• Are we willing to offer the Living Water that truly satisfies?Jesus knew what the world still forgets:• Everyone is thirsty.• Temporary wells always run dry.• Only Christ brings lasting peace, hope, and fulfillment. From celebrities to neighbors, from the successful to the broken, people are drinking, but they’re still thirsty. And we have the water. As we close, we take time for a powerful prayer moment, lifting up the names of people we know who are thirsty, asking God for boldness, and trusting the Spirit of the Lord to move.👉 Don’t miss this message.👉 Bring your faith.👉 Bring your expectation.👉 And be ready to say—and help others say—“GIVE ME THIS WATER.”FOLLOW US!WEBSITE: https://www.compassiondickson.church/FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/compassiondicksonINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/compassionchurchdickson?igsh=eXp3Mm9ubG81aTQx&utm_source=qrSunday Extended Podcast: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRTsMFJ4TR5xa0PahwBjfzWK772IOi9G8&si=lsIu5iqaQwl79Jwj

More Than Enough | God Math
Stirred to Give: When God Puts Something in Your Hands In today’s message, we walk through the powerful journey of Israel from Exodus 12 to Exodus 36 — and what it teaches us about obedience, stewardship, and the condition of our hearts.God never intended for His people to walk into freedom empty-handed.In Exodus 12, the Israelites leave Egypt carrying silver, gold, and garments, blessings placed in their hands by God Himself. But the real question is: What do we do with what God gives us?When God blesses us, we often start to feel like owners instead of stewards. From Exodus 13–24, the people lived selfishly, and by Exodus 25, when God calls them to bring an offering, their hearts weren’t ready. And like Israel in Exodus 32, when what we have isn’t surrendered to God, it becomes something that demands our worship. But everything changes in Exodus 35.Hearts were stirred. Spirits became willing. Obedience returned. And the result? In Exodus 36, the people brought more than enough — so much that Moses had to tell them to stop giving. Imagine a church overflowing with generosity because hearts were stirred by the Spirit of God!This message challenges us to ask:👉 Why has God put this in my hands?👉 What am I holding onto that belongs to Him?👉 Will I let God stir my heart again? We end today with a call to take the biblical test of generosity, not out of pressure, but out of a willing and cheerful heart.“So let each one give as he purposes in his heart… for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7Join us for prayer, communion, and a moment of heartfelt response as we ask God to stir our hearts, renew our obedience, and prepare us to make room for what He is building in our city and beyond.FOLLOW US!WEBSITE: https://www.compassiondickson.church/FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/compassiondicksonINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/compassionchurchdickson?igsh=eXp3Mm9ubG81aTQx&utm_source=qrSunday Extended Podcast: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRTsMFJ4TR5xa0PahwBjfzWK772IOi9G8&si=lsIu5iqaQwl79Jwj

The Test | God Math

The Test | God Math
In today’s message, we dive deep into what it truly means to walk in ordered steps, to return to God with our whole heart, and to experience the open Heaven He promises to those who trust Him fully.Psalm 37:23 reminds us: “The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.”This isn’t passive guidance, this is a military term of submission, sequence, and obedience. If we want our lives in order, we must put God first, align our hearts, and walk out faithful obedience. From there, we journey through Malachi 3, where God confronts Israel’s drift from His ordinances and calls them back with a powerful challenge, a test, and a promise:THE CHALLENGE“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse…”The storehouse, the local church, is where God provides spiritual and physical nourishment. Tithing isn’t about fundraising; it’s about covenant. It’s personal to Jesus because the Church is His Bride. When we withhold, we don’t just keep money—we rob God of the blessing He longs to release in our lives.THE TESTGod says, “Try Me. Test Me. NOW.”Tithing is a two-way test, our obedience is proven, and God’s faithfulness is demonstrated. This isn’t preached because the church is hurting, but because people are hurting. Tests take us to another level.THE BLESSINGGod promises: “I will open the windows of Heaven… you won’t have room to receive it.”Most believers live under a closed Heaven and settle for it. But God is looking for provers, those whose investment invites His involvement. When we do our part to prove, God does His part to pour. He even rebukes the devourer, protects our harvest, and causes nations to call us blessed.TITHING & THE NEW TESTAMENTIs tithing still relevant under grace?Absolutely. Because tithing was never just law, it was covenant, predating the law by hundreds of years (Genesis 4, 14, 26, 28). Grace doesn’t lower the standard of giving; it elevates it. Under the law they returned 10%. Under grace, we give generously, voluntarily, and cheerfully, not less, but more.Jesus Himself affirms this in Matthew 23:23: the issue wasn’t tithing, it was distorted priorities. And Hebrews 7 shows Jesus receives our tithes today as our eternal High Priest after the order of Melchizedek.Christ transforms routine giving into relational worship.KEY TAKEAWAYYour steps can be ordered.Your heart can return.Your faith can be tested.Your Heaven can open. What if God is not a liar?He guarantees blessing through giving. The question is: Will we trust Him?If this message blessed you, make sure to LIKE, COMMENT, and SUBSCRIBE so you never miss a word that could change your walk with God.FOLLOW US!WEBSITE: https://www.compassiondickson.church/FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/compassiondicksonINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/compassionchurchdickson?igsh=eXp3Mm9ubG81aTQx&utm_source=qrSunday Extended Podcast: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRTsMFJ4TR5xa0PahwBjfzWK772IOi9G8&si=lsIu5iqaQwl79Jwj
