In this episode, Dionne of Love Laid Bare is joined by Akeem to discuss his community building work in Uganda and why he had to leave the UK behind.
Having been failed by the UK police force, the NHS and his job, Akeem escaped the U.K to start a new life in East Africa to preserve his own wellbeing as well those less fortunate.
Akeem is currently raising money to provide food and activities for orphans and families within his local village. A small £10 donation could help a family provide the basics for food for a month. We appreciate that things are tight for everyone right now, but anything that you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
