Welcome to the George Street Community Bookshop Salon.

In a break from our usual format, the Salon is our response to the latest lockdown and a way of staying in touch with our members and customers. It’s a chance to discuss books with fellow booklovers, and also a little reminder that we’re still here, and that you can still buy books from us online.

Our first episode is about spy fiction and shop manager Steve talks to journalist Sean Hannam, a big fan of that particular genre. There's also an update from Lucy who runs our virtual bookclub. So grab your drink of choice, pull up a chair make yourself at home in our salon...
