The San Francisco 49ers return from the bye looking to stay in the NFC playoff race as they host the 2-11 Titans in Week 15. With Eddy Pineiro back and several defenders possibly returning, San Francisco is getting healthy at the perfect time.
Brock Purdy is set up for a big day against a Titans secondary. This could also be a strong matchup for George Kittle with Tennessee’s linebackers allowing nearly 800 yards in coverage. Christian McCaffrey may face a tougher test against an improving run defense.
On offense, Tennessee has shown signs of life with Tony Pollard and rookie QB Cam Ward, but they still rank last on 3rd down and under 20 points per game.
Can the 49ers take care of business at home and keep their push toward 11-4 alive?

The 49ers (8-4) head into Week 13 looking for their third straight win against a tough Browns (3-8) defense. San Francisco’s defense is playing its best football of the season, forcing five turnovers in the last two games and showing major improvement in coverage and tackling.
The matchup centers on the quarterbacks. Shedeur Sanders flashed in his debut but still struggled with accuracy and rhythm. With a weak run game and unreliable receivers, the 49ers can force him into mistakes if they stay disciplined.
Brock Purdy must rebound after a three-INT performance and now faces the NFL’s No. 2 pass defense, led by Myles Garrett, who’s chasing the sack record. Cleveland allows just 132 passing yards per game at home, so the 49ers will need to lean on CMC, George Kittle, and Jauan Jennings in the short game to take advantage of the Browns’ tackling issues and slow down their pass rush.
