This week Lala is joined by Ngozi Fulani and Ivy McCarthy from Sistah Space (@sistahspace_) to discuss Valerie's Law - Sistah Space work with African and Carribean heritage women who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse, or who have lost a loved one to domestic violence. In the name of Valerie Ford and her baby Jahzara who were both violently killed by Valerie's ex-partner, Sistah Space are calling for the government to make specialist training mandatory for all police and other government agencies that support black women and girls affected by domestic abuse.
