Suit Up was written to pay homage to my resilient Black community. My culture. My essence. We are such magnificent beings; masterfully created. This is an empowerment piece. I think of the current (and past) state of America and immediately get irritated. Thankfully, I've mastered the art of letting things roll off of my back. The strides we continue to make on a day-to-day basis are adding up. Change is coming, so I suggest you Suit Up.
