Pursuit Of Marriage

Join Joe and Kerry as they begin to build the Intimacy Tri-Pod. The fist “leg” is Emotional Intimacy; however, all three legs will begin with a foundation focused towards Christ. We will be in Psalm 42 and 43 for this broadcast. And Emotional Intimacy with Christ means that you are 1. Consistent in Your Faith. 2.You Seek Clarity through His Word. 3. You Know Your Identity-In Christ Alone. 4. You Question Your Feelings-You Filter Them Through God’s Word. 5. You Daily Inform Your Heart/Soul of the Hope You Have in Christ.

Joe and Kerry will take time to define Intimacy as it pertains to your marriage. Intimacy is defined as a state of a close, transparent, and genuine relationship. This is marked by a warm, genuine friendship developed through long association and transparent communication. We picture Biblical Intimacy in Marriage as a Tri-Pod. Where each leg represents the 3 Facets: Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual. Song of Songs 8:1-4 speaks to each of those legs. Join us as we take time to define “Intimacy in Marriage.”

Joe and Kerry will take time to discuss what it means to have a Pursuit of Marriage as defined in Psalm 34:3. “Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together.” We must take time to Magnify, Exalt, Invite Christ into our Marriage, but we must always do this Together! It’s a daily focus.
