<p>&nbsp;Schizophrenia is arguably one of the most puzzling yet disabling of all brain diseases, It is a poorly understood illness. <br>
A person suffering from illness may have the following symptoms <br>
</p>
<p>1) Hallucinations – Person hears voices/sounds which are inaudible to others, person may feel wired taste sensation.<br>
Eg : Person hears some familiar voices.<br>
</p>
<p>2) Delusions – Person has a false, firm, unshakable belief about certain things which does not change even after giving evidence to contrary.<br>
Eg: Person starts believing that his/her neighbour is plotting against him/her.<br>
</p>
<p>3) Disorganized Speech- Person start talking to self, at times he is unaware of what he is talking, and may sound irrelvevent to the person whom he is talking with.<br>
</p>
<p>4) Disorganized Behaviour- Person suffering from the illness,stops his/her day to day chores (like eating, bathing)and is not bothered to follow them.<br>

Affective flattening or blunting<br>
a. Unchanging facial expressions<br>
b. Paucity of expressive gesture<br>
c. Poor eye contact<br>
Alogia<br>
a. Poverty of speech<br>
d. Increased latency of response<br>
Avolition—apathy<br>
a. Grooming and hygiene<br>
b. Impersistence at work or school<br>
Anhedonia—asociality<br>
a. Recreational interests and activities<br>
b. Sexual interest and activities<br>
c. Intimacy and closeness<br>
d. Relationships with friends.<br>
