In the Middle... Me too
When we’re in process, we talk a lot about giving ourselves grace. About being patient. And I believe that. I’ve said that.
But I also think it’s important to say out loud: being in process is hard.
The reality is, it’s difficult to live in the space between the effort and the result.
This unexpected solo episode is a raw reflection on frustration, faith, and the commitment to keep showing up, even when I’d rather not.
What was supposed to be a rich guest conversation turned into a moment of pause and honesty. From tech failures and body image struggles to feeling like all the effort isn’t adding up, I’m processing what it means to stay the course when everything in you wants to quit.
If you’re in that in-between space, putting in the work, but not seeing the results, this one’s for you.
A reminder that acceptance isn’t agreeance. That multiple things can be true. And that even when it’s hard, we can still choose to show up for ourselves.
Maybe it’s oversharing. Maybe it’s a ramble. But maybe, just maybe, it’s what someone else needed to hear.
Me too.
I appreciate you all,
Sincerely,
Omaina 🤎
