Wrapping up a year in beauty and make up with our favourite products of 2019. Lisa is a freelance make up artist with 15 years industry experience, working backstage at London fashion week to working on sets for brands such as ASOS, as well as educating new make up artists. Lisa is known for her "skin like skin" approach to make up with her "glow job" method of prepping skin with products, giving anyone she works on a plump,  youthful glow. As self confessed product junkies, we go through all our favourite products of the year, bargain to luxury with some tips to go with it, as well as some honest lessons Lisa has learnt along the way. Welcome back to Like Her! After a few months off, I thought it would be great to kick off season 2 with some nutritional advice & food talk with registered nurse, newly qualified associate Nutritionist AND food content creative; Emily Moreton. In this extensive episode targeted at students & young people; Emily & I discuss: - her recent foodie trips to Italy & her new found passion for eating local - how she went from posting photos of teddy bear smoothie bowls to having 22,000 followers on Instagram - her advice for sleep, stress & anxiety - nutritional tips for hungover students as well as foods to support glowing skin - the importance of fibre in the diet - some quick n easy student meals AND last but definitely not least, her favourite skincare products. Emily kindly created a recipe especially for Like Her listeners which you can find below. Roseanna x You can follow Like Her on Instagram @likeherpodcast You can follow Emily on Instagram @emilyrosemoreton British Pear & ginger flapjack granola: 125g butter A pinch of salt 200g Porridge oats 1tsp vanilla extract 2tbsp honey  80g dried pear or other dried fruit such as apricot 50g raisins 50g chopped dates 100g mixed seeds 100g chopped nuts 1tsp cinnamon 2tsp ginger 150g coarsely grated pear ~ Pre-heat the oven to 160°C. Line a square tin with some greaseproof paper. Melt the butter, honey, salt, vanilla and dried fruit in a saucepan until well combined. Mix the oats and spices in a bowl with the nuts and seeds and add in the grated pear. Add the wet mixture to the dry and mix well then add the mixture to the baking tray and press down firmly. Bake for around 30 minutes until golden. Allow to cool before cutting as they will fall apart quite a lot. You can keep them as flapjacks or crumble them up as granola or half and half
