John "Hench" Murray has served as the radio analyst for football broadcasts at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, for 44 seasons. He has shared the booth with several well-known Philadelphia play-by-play voices (including Merrill Reese) and has well over 400 Penn broadcasts to his credit. His broadcasting career followed a successful stint in high school coaching at Penn Charter. All this is in addition to his very impressive career in education administration.
