Didn't have that on the bingo card, but the New York Mets were able to chase Paul Skenes in the first inning in route to an 11-7 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.  The story of this one: the new look Mets. Debuting a bunch of new faces, it was our first look in season of the new Mets offensive approach. And we saw in that first inning where the Mets were able to (with some help from O'Neil Cruz) chase Skenes in the first after scoring five runs.  Freddy Peralta took the mound for his first start as a Met and he battled through five innings. His nemesis today was Brandon Lowe, who got him for a pair of home runs. He finished the day with 7 strikeouts over his five innings of work.  And last, but not least, it was a great MLB debut for Carson Benge. After perhaps getting the louds cheers in the pre-game introductions, he picked up his first career hit in the form of a home run.  It's already a day off for the Mets, who will be back in action on Saturday against these same Pirates with David Peterson making his first start of the season.
