<p>The day after recording the podcast with Haslam, Kearns woke up and slipped&nbsp;into the old pattern&nbsp;of believing what he had just done wasn't good enough. So he decided&nbsp;what was needed was strapping a canoe to the roof of this boat and taking Haslam and his dog out to a small island to&nbsp;record&nbsp;a podcast under a tarp in the rain.
