His backstory is one that includes fatherlessness as he was born and raised in a not so nice area of Los Angeles and never knew his biological father. However, Michael overcame the adversity in his early life by earning a college scholarship, worked full-time to put himself through law school, becoming a Harvard Business School alum. When Michael’s two daughters were toddlers, he looked for a book about dads, daughters, and our national pastime. There weren’t any. So, he wrote one, called “Baseball is Back”. The book is a love letter to his girls and baseball, purchased by the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies. It’s received great reviews, including from Major League Baseball’s book blog, and can be purchased on Amazon at Baseball is Back.

The post Ep 35.

Rob was one of 8 kids and although his dad started well, he unfortunately decided to leave his family to raise themselves. Rob was raised fatherless and never really had a father there to teach him how to do the things a dad should show their kids growing up. Instead of being a victim, Rob decided to change things by raising two incredible children and being an engaged father and by helping other dads through his popular YouTube show: “Dad, how do I?”. I thoroughly enjoyed my interview with Rob and have already learned many skills through his YouTube channel. Rob is an incredible husband, dad and his channel is a huge hit so go check it out at: Dad, how do I?

The post Ep 34. He’s wise beyond his years and while he doesn’t have the whole fatherhood game figured out just yet… he’s off to an incredible start. Gage has been married for 5 years and is the father to two beautiful young girls. He’s determined to make a difference in the world and is doing so in his current role as a pastor/student director at Forest Hill Church. Gage is a retired pro athlete and one of the best young communicators I know.

The post Ep 33.
