Hippy Nonsense

OCT 6, 201920 MIN

Description

"This isn't hippy nonsense - this is REAL!" - we talk to some of the 1000s of people on the streets of Glasgow who joined millions around the world for the Global Climate Strike on September 20th. From P2 pupils to Grandparents, we get a sense of why people were out in such force and consider the role that education has to play, with a visit to Learning for Sustainability Scotland in Edinburgh too.

Whilst in the capital, we drop-in to Friends of the Earth Scotland and chat to Activism Organiser, Kate Whitaker about what 'climate justice' actually means.
