Travis Greisler is a NYC based writer, director, acting coach and newly minted travel agent who began his career as a child actor on Broadway in show’s like The Who’s Tommy and Les Miserables. In his adult life he’s helped develop a ton of plays and musicals (like The Cher Show on Broadway, Fully Committed with Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Tales of the City with the Scissor Sisters) plus his own work as a writer and director. He continues to coach actors and helps folks disassociate by going on fabulous trips around the globe that he plans as a travel agent. César is a lifelong multidisciplinary artist whose journey spans pop stardom, classical stage, and cinematic storytelling.
A former child star and Menudo member from Puerto Rico, he has spent nearly two decades performing as a dancer with the Metropolitan Opera.
Now also a filmmaker and producer, his work reflects a legacy of movement, memory, and cultural expression—crafting intimate films and bold productions that echo his artistic path.
He holds a BFA in Dance Education from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia and was awarded a full scholarship for his MFA studies at NYU.

EA Hanks, Thank You For Coming Out

In this week’s episode of the Gay City News podcast “Thank You For Coming Out,” creator and host Dubbs Weinblatt (they/ them) welcomes Idit Klein (she/her).
Idit is a national leader for social change with more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit justice sector. Since 2001, she has served as the leader of Keshet, the national organization for LGBTQ equality in Jewish life. Idit built Keshet from a local organization with an annual budget of $42,000 to a national organization with offices in six states and a multi-million budget. Under her leadership, Keshet has mobilized tens of thousands of Jewish leaders to make LGBTQ+ equality a communal value and priority for action. Idit created national community building programs for queer Jewish teens and organized Jewish communities nationwide to join the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. In addition, she served as the executive producer of Keshet’s documentary film, “Hineini: Coming Out in a Jewish High School” which inspired the formation of GSAs in Jewish schools around the country.

Idit Klein, Thank You For Coming Out

In this week’s episode of the Gay City News podcast “Thank You For Coming Out,” creator and host Dubbs Weinblatt (they/ them) welcomes Jason E. Bernard (he/him).
Jason E. Bernard is a native New Yorker from The Bronx. At the age of 17 he made his Broadway debut in The Tony Award winning musical “Bring In ‘da Noise, Bring In ‘da Funk”. In 2000 he made his feature film debut in The Spike Lee Feature Film “Bamboozled” and in 2001 he appeared alongside the late Great Gregory Hines in The Showtime Original Movie “Bojangles”. He traveled the world with the international dance phenomenon “Riverdance” for 10 years performing for millions of audience members. For 3 years while living in Ireland Jason performed with Cois Céim Dance Theater for their premiere production of “Dodgems” and their 10 year anniversary revival of “Boxes”. In 2011 “Cotton Club Parade” premiered at City Center for “Encores” where Jason originated the role of one of “The Five Blazes”. That production went on to Broadway as “After Midnight” and won a Tony Award for Best Choreography. In 2022 Jason was nominated for an Industry Dance Award for Favorite Convention Teacher. Currently, he is on tour with LA Dance Magic as their Tap Educator and he is the director of the LA Dance Magic Tap Company. Jason is truly honored to be able to share and teach the gift of rhythm around the world!
