Getting Started with Online Dating in Your 40s
For many of us that are dating after divorce in our 40s, online dating did not even exist when we met our former spouses.  In an effort to "get with the times" and explore all of your dating options, you may be thinking about taking the plunge into the online dating world and you're just not sure where to start.  In this episode, we have Dawnne Nightingale-Amey, a marketing executive that used her marketing and copy-writing skills to write the perfect profile that generated an overwhelming number of responses from potential candidates.Dawnne shares her tips on picking the right profile picture, which apps to consider, writing your bio, and how to make that first initial contact.  About our guest: Dawnne Nightingale- Amey is currently the CEO of Nightingale Consulting with 25 years of experience in Marketing as an owner, independent contractor, agency lead and  strategic partner. Dawnne is a passionate advocate and outspoken voice for many causes including mental health & wellness, bullying, sexual assault and voter suppression.  Her dedication to these issues has created a shift in her career to focus on Cause Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives while pursuing a MA in Social Psychology. Dawnne is currently the VP of the board for Mental Health America for the state of Georgia. While her work life may be demanding, Dawnne considers her crowning achievement  and most important title to be “Mom”.
