<p>Octavio Visiedo discusses what it was like to be heading up the Miami-Dade school system during Hurricane Andrew in 1992. There were over 54 schools with damage and 10 schools that were unable to open. Schools were closed for over 2 weeks and people were living in a tent city. Octavio discusses his conversations with President Bush in regards to the safety of students. </p>
