<p>Motherhood is an indescribable experience that only women understand. It’s a mix of excitement, joy, steep learning process, and at the same time mothers too feel tired, anxious, and to some.. even depressed. To mothers who live abroad, married to foreign spouse for example, there are extra challenges that they face, understanding the health system, finding a doctor that speaks your language, missing home. I’m going to talk to Patricia, an Indonesian mother who lives in Basel, Switzerland, about her pregnancy and the beginning of her motherhood journey.</p>
