This week we have the great pleasure to celebrate our profession. Respiratory Therapy week is all about inspiring excellence in the great work we do. With the importance of this week, we wanted to high light an individual in our profession that we believe to be an incredible asset to the field of Respiratory Therapy. In this episode we have the privileged of sitting down with Thomas Piraino who is a Fanshawe College Respiratory Therapy alumni (class of 2003), and currently holds the position of "Clinical Specialist- Mechanical Ventilation" for the Centre of Excellence in Mechanical Ventilation at St. Micheal's hospital in Toronto, ON. Tom is an influential, passionate clinician and researcher who shares his thoughts and opinions on why it is important for ALL RT's to continue to learn through evidence based research throughout their careers.
