Opi & the Bear

We're Opi-less again and I'm not sure we're getting better atthis but we're having fun. This was just Bear and the Boys and we had a good time just talking shit. What we cover: The Campaign, predictions, Bear's poor memory, monotone, bowling, Boom, flavored Red Bull, MNF chat, Bust, Sleeper,and Step Brothers. For your NFL song viewing, we have a little lingerie football video that will satisfy the male listeners a little too much. The 3 Turkey Day games while there's a small invasion known as Haley. We bring it down a little talking about some questionable trading now occurring in theFBFL. Chat a few injuries, Grady Jarrett and his dad, and how we feel the Bears are going to finish this season. Then, finish with a little Cub talk again. Fun time with the kids!

We're Opi-less again due to him havingsnot issues…again. We start without Ryan, but he shows up a little later with Whitey's for himself. What we chat about: Emily Osment, last week's predictions, a little NBA, the movie Playdate, AJ's new tat, Grim's Government conspiracy, Ryan's sick kid, Texan's uniform (game was on during the podcast),boom, bust, sleeper, the origin of the word "apple", NFL picks, Grim can't run a fan, the 4-win theory to get the 1st round pick, Josh Allen getting hurt during the game we're watching, FBFL pools, We finish by hitting up on Skatteboo's WWE appearance, Grabby's Whorehouse, FBFL Trade Rule, FBFLStandings, Fantrax contract extensions, and we finish with some miscellaneous NFL news along with a newcomer for everyone to run to the waiver wire to grab, small baseball chat, Bears vs Steelers, and then Grim's ready to get out ofthere.

We skipped week 9 for 1 simple reason, no Bear means no cuts so this stuff can't get published. So, we plow through a couple weeks' worth of stuff in 1 decently quick podcast. We start with the picks and normal stuff and sprinkle in some stories of Bear's trip to Cancun. We tangent a lot, talk alittle about The Witcher new season, how easy it is to get hurt in our elder state, some news about Antonio Brown and Jamal Anderson and then we move into actual NFL stuff with injuries and what-not. We go over the 5-stages of grief for fantasy football that Grimbo introduced us to.

OK, so we may not be able to see the future but we take a whack at it. We give our boom, bust, sleepers and then we go over who we think is going to be the top 5 players for the rest of the year at their positions. Each guy takes a position and rattles them off and most give decent insight as to why they feel the way they do. We're all back together which is nice to see and we have a good time talking our favorite thing and that's fantasy football.

This was the opposite of last week when Bear and Grim ran the podcast, this one was done by the other 3 slackers who weren't there as Bear and Grim had work engagement to attend to. The boys chat about the FBFL and actually give Rob Barber a bunch of credit, so you could tell Bear wasn't thereto break that up. Then they go through the normal predictions and talk just football in general. The guys help Opi decide on a kicker and then he does the opposite and it may have actually worked. Then they talk more FBFL and teams having bye week issues. And finish up with some NFL bullet points and get a little goofy, and then call it. How about a little Randy Moss and his whirlwind of one hand catches for the YouTube highlights this week?!?!
