When I became a single mother, I had flat-out hit rock bottom, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. The crash was painful in every possible way. I had no choice but to face myself brutally, painfully, and needed to be more honest to myself. I was looking for external sources to fill my life, but I was still confused, searching for the wrong things. I look back with gratitude, which instilled in me that God, the one I gave my back those years, was there for me. You might think I am crazy, but those painful years were teaching me to build myself up. My life choices were not sustainable. At the bottom, all my dysfunctional behaviors were finally revealed. A point lowest point, God took me by his arms to show me that I was never alone.
